We are committed to building a collaborative, open, respectful, research-oriented community. All users should behave consistently with AU’s values of research
integrity, openness and mutual respect.
2. Expected Behavior
- Share accurate, well-documented metadata; provide appropriate citation, attribution and contextual information.
- Respect intellectual property and data protection responsibilities.
- Engage constructively when commenting or interacting with other users or Content; maintain professional, courteous tone.
- Use the repository in good faith, in line with its intended research purpose.
- Report suspected violations of these rules or the Terms of Use to the repository administrators.
3. Unacceptable Behavior
- Uploading or sharing content that breaches copyrights, privacy rights, confidentiality or applicable laws.
- Harassment, discrimination, abuse, or defamation of individuals or groups.
- Falsification of metadata, misleading descriptions or mis-labelled content.
- Deliberate attempts to disrupt or compromise the Site’s operations, security, or availability.
- Using the Site for unrelated commercial purposes or mass inboxing/spamming other users.
4. Enforcement
Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in one or more of the following actions (at our discretion):
- A warning and request to fix or remove the problematic content.
- Temporary suspension of upload or download rights.
- Permanent account deactivation and removal of Content.
- Referral to AU’s institutional or legal authorities if required.
5. Appeals
If you are subject to enforcement action you may submit an appeal via TODO [contact email] requesting reconsideration. We will review and respond in a
timely manner.
